10 Cozy Fall Desserts You NEED To Make This Season

Once the weather starts to cool off, I’m all about baking. A trip to the apple orchard usually kicks things off, and after that, it’s open season on anything with cinnamon, pumpkin, or brown butter. Fall baking is just one of those simple joys I look forward to every year, so I rounded up 10 of my favorite cozy desserts to make this season.

All this to say: I’m not messing around when it comes to fall baking this year. I’ve rounded up 10 of the warmest, coziest fall dessert recipes I could find. Trust me—you’re going to want to make these recipes on repeat all season long.

1. Apple Oatmeal Cookies

These Apple Oatmeal Cookies were a huge hit among my neighbors and friends. They are perfectly chewy, buttery, and have an apple crunch in every bite. If you prefer some extra sweetness, don’t forget to add the maple glaze!

2. Browned Butter Salted Maple Shortbread Cookies

Shortbread cookies are my personal favorite for any time of the year. I created these Browned Butter Salted Maple Shortbread Cookies with the fall season in mind and let me just tell you, they did not fail!

3. Mini Apple Hand Pies

This is one of my favorite recipes of 2025. Jenna’s (Butternut Bakery) Mini Apple Hand Pies are so easy and quick to make, I will likely not make a full pie again unless I have to.

4. Browned Butter Pumpkin Blondies

My Browned Butter Pumpkin Blondies are everything I love about fall baking (if it has to involve pumpkin) — soft, chewy, full of pumpkin spice, and made even better with nutty brown butter and maple glaze.

5. Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding

I may be biased, but I love my Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding. It’s versatile so you can have it for breakfast AND dessert. It consists of torn cinnamon rolls and brioche baked in creamy vanilla custard and finished with a buttery vanilla sauce.

6. Pumpkin Muffins with Maple Cream Cheese Filling

So I’ll be the first to admit that I believe apple is the superior fall flavor. However, I absolutely love Lindsay’s (Pinch of Yum) Pumpkin Muffins with Maple Cream Cheese Filling. They are flavorful, the texture of the topping is elite, and the whipped filling is not too heavy which really makes these even more enjoyable.

7. Apple Snack Cake with Brown Butter Frosting

If you’re really wanting a minimal effort cake (which is the only effort I want to put in when making a cake honestly) then this Apple Snack Cake is for you. It’s full of apples and cinnamon swirls and then topped with a delicious browned butter cream cheese frosting.

8. Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

I am a huge fan of Liz’s (Buuck Farms Bakery) Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls. Cinnamon rolls typically intimidate me but when I made her recipe, they were absolutely delicious. The ooey-gooey center, the apple streusel topping, and finished with the silky cream cheese frosting- AMAZING.

9. Cream Cheese Swirled Cinnamon Pumpkin Coffee Cake

One of the best things to look forward to when dreaming about fall is sitting on your porch in the cool weather, bundled up with a cup of coffee and in this case, a slice of Tieghan’s (Half Baked Harvest) Cream Cheese Swirled Cinnamon Pumpkin Coffee Cake. In fact, I did this very thing a couple weeks ago after I made this recipe. Let me just tell you, it’s delicious!

1o. Apple Fritter Loaf Cake

A tender Apple Fritter Loaf Cake that is layered with cinnamon sugar and apples then drizzled with glaze — just like an apple fritter, but easier and in convenient cake form.
